New Adult Contemporary Romance
Tour Schedule (Hosted by Xpresso Book Tours)
“We have someone who saw you struggling with the deceased before using that knife. Your best friend, and our eye witness.”
In nine weeks Charlie Miller’s life goes from high-rolling perfection to a crypt of sin. All it takes is one night, one blade, and her boyfriend, best friend and new friends all either end up as suspects or dead.
Nate Westcott, a pierced, tattooed, charismatic lawyer, is a man she can’t have—but a seductive danger she can’t ignore. He’s cocky, infuriating, brilliant and wrong, yet he makes her question whether she really is the good girl she wants to be or more like the selfish killer everyone thinks she is.
And her body wants him in ways she’s not supposed to crave.
As the weeks close in, cracks start forming in her everyday world of pro football golden boys, law school domination and New York City nightlife. Everyone she cares about is at risk because one of them doesn’t love Charlie back. In fact, they want her out of the way. Disposed of. Set up.
One more step, and all Charlie has to do is fall through.
Week 1 starts now.
WHO WILL SNAP?
Snapped is Ketley’s New Adult Contemporary series with all the romance you’d expect, but the killer—and lovers—that you don’t.
This is an angst-ridden serial series that will have you guessing constantly, and reading faster than you ever could just to get to the end. It’s a foray into something that you could easily see happening in real life, which makes it all too scary, and you won’t be able to stop once you get started.
Charlie is a law student living with her football star boyfriend Slade. She’s in love, living with the man she loves, and loving law school. But what she won’t get is how much this law school is needed. Because what she doesn’t know is that there’s someone who wants what she has. Someone who will stop at absolutely nothing to have it. And Charlie is a very openly loving character who will always see the good in people until it’s too late. She’s always more than willing to invite others in without realizing that she’s with a wanted man and living a coveted life.
So will start a dark ride into a world where things happen that you least expect. Charlie is thrown for a loop, constantly being tossed from side to side on who she can trust. And it’s pretty obvious who she can, up until she can’t. Constantly characters are coming across skeptical, and you’re left wondering their motives. Essentially everyone ends up with a motive, so who does Charlie even begin to trust? Is she the only person that’s trustworthy? Because while the obvious choice is, well, obvious, there’s more than just meets the eye. And when one woman comes between what was considered a strong couple, things start unraveling everywhere.
Charlie won’t know who to trust. You, the reader, will not know who to trust. Eventually everyone will come across in your mind as, “well this can be the bad guy.” It’s a he-said, she-said, she-said tale of one woman both fighting for her man, but also for her freedom. And how do you get people to see someone for who they really are? How do you express that sometimes a mad person will have covered their tracks this well, and you’re not the bad one? Charlie will have to figure it out. I enjoyed this serial series that will make your heart race, ache, and long. You’ll want to reach through the book and shake some sense into people, into them all. And you’ll be desperately trying to fix it all in your head. I recommend this series–especially now that all parts are out because each part will having you screaming for more.
♦ABOUT THE AUTHOR♦
Ketley Allison began her career by writing books as birthday presents for her friends (with her friend as the main character and opposite a super sexy lead, of course) before ending it in order to walk down a path she thought she was supposed to follow.
The writing bug never left her–and, in fact, would often bleed into the official papers she was supposed to write–so now Ketley’s putting down her suit and finally following her dream. While her friends are no longer the stars of her books, she still throws in bits and pieces of them into each and every one of her characters.
As a result, her books tend to focus a lot on friendships as well as love, because let’s be honest, friends are what really get you through–especially when your epic love turns into epic heartbreak.
