The Setting
Welcome to Shepherdstown, a small town with a big history. Founded in 1734, Shepherdstown is located on the banks of the Potomac River in West Virginia. This picturesque town is the perfect setting for the supernatural events that take place in the book.
The book is set in the present day, and follows the story of Paige, a young woman who is struggling to come to terms with her abilities as an earth elemental. Paige is also trying to deal with the death of her father, who was also an earth elemental. As Paige tries to understand her abilities and find her place in the world, she must grapple with the weight of her father’s legacy.
Shepherdstown is the perfect setting for this story, because it is so isolated. This isolation allows Paige to really focus on her journey of self-discovery. If you’re looking for an engaging read that will keep you on the edge of your seat, be sure to check out this book.
