Same Earth is the second book in Hunter’s Elemental Mysteries series. The book follows water elemental Beatrice De Novo as she investigates a series of murders in her hometown of New Orleans.

I have not read this book, but I am familiar with Hunter’s work. I think fans of her previous work will enjoy this latest installment.

Hunter’s work is characterized by strong worldbuilding and compelling characters. I’m sure Same Earth will be no different. If you’re looking for a new fantasy series to get into, I recommend giving this one a try.

The Characters

Do you love fantasy and romance novels? Then you’ll adore Elizabeth Hunter’s Elemental Mysteries series. The books follow the adventures of earth elemental Maya and her friends as they navigate the magical world they live in.

In the first book, we’re introduced to Maya and Raphael. Raphael is also an earth elemental and the two of them have an undeniable connection. However, they’re quickly met with opposition from the evil fire elemental Lilith, who is hell-bent on destroying them.

In the second book, we follow Fiona Appleton, another earth elemental. Fiona is a strong and determined woman who has been through a great deal in her life. She meets Declan Gallagher, a bit of a mystery man who is a loner. But despite his initial reservations, the two of them are drawn to each other and they must team up to defeat the powerful sorceress Sorcha.

The characters in Same Earth, Elemental Mysteries 2 are very intriguing. The protagonist, Fiona Appleton, is a very strong and determined woman. She’s been through a lot in her life and has come out stronger for it. The love interest, Declan Gallagher, is a bit of a mystery. He’s a bit of a loner and doesn’t really let people in. But he’s drawn to Fiona and she to him. The antagonist, Sorcha, is a powerful sorceress who is determined to destroy Fiona. She’s a formidable opponent and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals.

The Setting

Welcome to Shepherdstown, a small town with a big history. Founded in 1734, Shepherdstown is located on the banks of the Potomac River in West Virginia. This picturesque town is the perfect setting for the supernatural events that take place in the book.

The book is set in the present day, and follows the story of Paige, a young woman who is struggling to come to terms with her abilities as an earth elemental. Paige is also trying to deal with the death of her father, who was also an earth elemental. As Paige tries to understand her abilities and find her place in the world, she must grapple with the weight of her father’s legacy.

Shepherdstown is the perfect setting for this story, because it is so isolated. This isolation allows Paige to really focus on her journey of self-discovery. If you’re looking for an engaging read that will keep you on the edge of your seat, be sure to check out this book.

Olivia’s Story

I never thought I would be dealing with the death of my husband. I never thought I would be the one struggling to put the pieces of my life back together. But, here I am. I am struggling. I am grieving. I am trying to find my way back to some semblance of normalcy.

Thankfully, I have not been alone in this journey. I have had the support of my family and friends. But, most importantly, I have had the support of the earth elementals.

The earth elementals are a group of creatures that live on our planet. They are often seen as protectors of the earth, and they have helped me to find closure and peace. Through my relationships with these creatures, I have been able to find hope and redemption. I have been able to learn to move on with my life.

The earth elementals have helped me to understand that loss is a part of life. They have helped me to see that grief is normal and that it is okay to feel pain. They have also helped me to see that love never dies. Even though my husband is no longer with me, I know that his love will always be a part of me.

If you are struggling with loss, grief, or betrayal, I encourage you to seek out the support of the earth elementals. They will help you to find your way back to hope and redemption.

Well, that’s how I felt after reading Same Earth, Elemental Mysteries 2 by Elizabeth Hunter. I’ll admit, I was a bit hesitant to start reading it. I hadn’t loved the first book in the series as much as I’d hoped, so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to commit to reading the sequel. But I’m so glad I did!

From the first page, I was hooked. The story was fast-paced and full of suspense. I loved the characters and the way the author developed their relationships. And the ending was just perfect.

If you’re a fan of fantasy and mystery novels, you’ll definitely want to check out Elizabeth Hunter’s Same Earth Elemental Mysteries 2. The story follows Nikki Glass, a professional “finder” who is hired to locate a missing man in the Italian city of Pompeii. But as Nikki delves deeper into the case, she quickly discovers that there is much more to this man’s disappearance than meets the eye.

I absolutely loved the world that Hunter created in this novel. The Pompeii setting was vividly described and really brought the story to life. I also thought the characters were well-developed and interesting. Nikki is a particularly compelling protagonist – she’s smart, resourceful, and fiercely independent.

If you’re looking for a well-written, engaging story, I would definitely recommend Same Earth Elemental Mysteries 2. It’s a great book that I think you’ll enjoy from beginning to end.
